Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 7, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted December 7, 2008 this thread was about making materials move. It was about making them move on a curvy tube, but basically same issue. Quote
J90 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Used a material found in the library that is applied to a copy of a sphere. Then the sphere scaled a little bit to be larger to be on the top layer. then animated The material rotates 180 degrees on the Y axis Example.mov Example.prj Quote

johnl3d Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 As stated you click on rotate choose new relationship then right click change drivers .... this is a bit quick but if you manually scroll the qt you will see the material rotate rock2.mov rock2.zip added the streaks just for fun Quote
