Another question but is there a way to paint your colors for a more realistic looks. It seem like softwares like cinema 4D can paint. but is there a way to do this in A:M.

If you mean paint directly on a 3D model... not in A:M. However, there's good and bad news. Good news, a program called 3D Paint was created about a year ago and it allows you to do so with A:M models. Bad news, its not free... don't remember the cost but I can tell you that it is worth the price. Search for 3D Paint within the forum.

Hope this helps,

Rusty

how does it work after I paint it how do i import it into A:M

i use it all the time. it cost 100.00 but well worth it.

there are several ways to work it. you have to start by making a decal which then you can paint on.

here is the link, check it out.

could you go into more detail on how it works.

Easy: You unwrap your model (that means you apply decals to it), you go to your model-window, you activate the plugin, the model is automatically transfered to 3dPainter and you can paint it. Now you can save the texturemaps and just click save and go back to A:M. 3dPainter will be closed and you will have the model with the textures.

Another possibility is to use the autounwrap-feature of 3dPainter, but this wont work as well as a good manually unwrapped model.

There are some other features too.

Anyhow: You will need time and talent to be able to create nice models, no matter which software you will use. There is no other way.
