Ravager Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 i was wondering how to get different properties of a liquid, for example, if i want it to be oozing, like blood or lava, and splashy, like water... by the way is there a way to cease water from emiting? i cant seem to find an option for it, and if not, will you come up with an update concerning a way to stop the liquid? thanks, i am excited to have liquid in the animations! Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted May 6, 2008 Hash Fellow Posted May 6, 2008 you perused this thread? http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29163 I believe if you turn on "Show more than drivers" for your object in the PWS you can make keyframes on the channel tha controls the particle emmitter's output. I think viscosity will be a big factor in how your fluid behaves. Quote
John Bigboote Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 'Viscosity' is the setting that you would use to control that. (Ooooze=150 to 200% whereas splashing=0 to 25%) Quote
Ravager Posted May 8, 2008 Author Posted May 8, 2008 thanks, is there also a way to keep the particles from going all over the place without having to use a model within model aspect? just curious Quote
johnl3d Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 not sure what you are trying to do but here is something I threw together liq.mov liq.zip turned the emission rate on 300 and off 0 in the chor and I have the liquid bouncing off the target Quote
Ravager Posted May 8, 2008 Author Posted May 8, 2008 cool! i was wondering how to keep the liquid concentrated like that, and not like a dozen particles all over the screen Quote
