is there any way to have aline , preferable glowing going between 2 objects, i tryed to make a good laser using a long pole thats set to glow but its to hard to aim a pole when the thing shooting it is is rotating as at the moment i have to aim on every frame and thats like 5000 frames ( i gave up at 200)

make a 2 cp spline. attach each CP to a separate bone.

constrain 1 bone to your gun

constrain the other to your target.

the spline can be set to "render as line" to make it visible, but I'm not sure a single line can glow, try it.

A thin cylinder with a ring at each end would work as well.

Look into 'Aim At' Constraints.

You can have your objects point at other objects easily that way.

Alternatively you could assign a part of the laser to a bone and 'Translate To' the other object.

Adjusting the Ease within the costraint will allow you some flexibility in those instances where you don't want the laser pointing directly at the object (for instance... someone fires the laser and it misses the first time...)

Edit: Robert beat me to the reply and I think his method will work well for you.

You might add a Pose to the laser that extends the end outward. That way you can adjust the length of the laser on the fly.
