Phil
I've been working on this character for a while. Had to step back and regroup the brain cells that remained. Thanks to Frank Hulsey for his quick how to Model the hair style and to Jim for those tutorials on decaling. I'm using the TSM for the rig with some fan bones. the smartskin has just really really been kicking my #@$%. Any comments are welcomed
Zaryin
This character is real nice. I especially like the eyes and hair.
JTalbotski
Cool character! Is he kicking some cadet's butt? If you darkened the inside of his mouth it might read a little easier. And add teeth. Good job, Jim
Iham Wrong
He's turning out very good. You have made some really great progress for the short time you've been using A:M. Your texturing on his clothing looks top knotch. Can't wait till you get the head and hands textured and add some facial controls.
Phil
I was just trying to see if i could get him to balance on one leg. It does look like he's giving someone the big boot. I could not have done it woth out the sharing of your knowledge and expertise. so thanks again. As for teeth <_ i not sure how to even start. give it a try.> I finally got the old brain housing group together and figured out how to use smartskin (big time user error ). Phil
Here's my first shot at teeth. also a small movie clip to see how the jaw and eye brows move Untitled
Iham Wrong
Looking good. The theeth seem to suit the style of your character well. I didn't see the little movie because of some codec problem on my end, but the eyebrows in the static shots look good. Did you use a bone with weighted CPs? Phil
Just made a pose for the eye browse. I need to look around the model to see how the mesh streches around the teeth
JTalbotski
Phil, I like the simple teeth also. The mouth opening movie, showing the teeth, works well. Keep up the good work, Jim

Admin Rodney Posted January 30, 2004 Admin Share Posted January 30, 2004 Looks like some of the guys I work with. How did you get the camo pattern on the pants? Material? Decal? Looks like real BDUs. But... ahem... what about the pockets? Rodney (Looks Good!)
