noober Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 OK heres the problem. I made a model, and it has fire. It looks great I might add. Then I import it into the choreography and the trouble starts. First it is no longer heading up like i made it. But down and foward. It actualy travels 6ft down to the ground plane. First thought forces were the problem. To no avail. I get sort of closer results but far from what I am looking for. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? Quote
heyvern Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Using particles for the fire? Is the model scaled? The "world scale" of a chor may be different than in the model. Something that works and looks great in the model may change when placed in the chor. If using particals or similar, you may want to play with the settings in the chor to get the correct results. Also the timeline has an effect. Particles exist over time so depending on what is going on or the gravity etc... you might get unexpected results. Beyond that I don't have any more specific ideas. -vern Quote
Bendytoons Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 sounds like you need to set "gravitational effect" to zero or slightly less. Quote
noober Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 Well after playing with it i tried importing the emiter as a new model. Lot less problems. When it was imported to a new Chor, it worked fine... thats how i new it wasnt my model. It was the Chor. After making the model with just the emiter and keyframed it in. All is well. Well not perfect, but much, much closer. Thanks all. Quote
