Run & Dive

Hey guys,

well it's been a while since I put myself through a speed test.

Since I have this new character to mess around with, I thought I'd

put something together. I literally put this together in 20.min.

I used a run cycle that I previously made, put a path in, then animated the dive in

the cho. window.

Don't know if there is anything more I will do to it, even though I know there's all sorts of

stuff to adjust.....

That works quite well. Great looking character and he looks well rigged too!

He looks like he's hiding from Officer McKnuckles. :D

If I were going to alter one thing about his jump it would be to make his stretched out pose happen on his last frame of contact with the ground intead of 2-3 frames later in the air. that would make his jump look most forceful.

This is really a great character. That run is so...3dartzy :D Which is to say it's excellent.

The only critique I have is about the jump. I think he should throw his arms straight up rather than put them to his sides just as he jumps, to enhance the jumping action.

Really nice, Mike! I love the look of the render, and a nice fun all-purpose character. And...what IS the green thing he's jumping in?

Hey Gerry, thanks for the comments, the green thing is just a prop.

I was going to try and make it look filled with water and put a splash thing in there....but well, its just

a green thing now:)

Robert, thanks for the positive review!!! I know you don't just hand them out! I see what you are

saying about him being fully extended by the last frame his feet are on the ground..... you're right. The

only question is can I go back and do it without messing up my keys....
