To be honest, I'm really starting to believe that my computer, or AM for that matter, has a little gremlin running amok inside. Inexplicable things happen on my machine all the time, usually in AM. Just like the enivronment map material. I've used the same material on the S& before and got great renders, then it started with those artifacts.
