I was searching the forums to find these 2 tricks in animation. None of the topic headers seem to have keywords to track down the info. Logically, they have to be common animation techniques for some time now:

1. Rotating a wheel such as a car, and to keep it spinning.

2. Animating a prop that pops up in one area and then disappears and something else pops up in the same location, like magic. For instance, a frog breakdancing and then instantly disappears and a prince pops up in the same spot.

Make sure you have the 'advanced properties' option set, so that when you click on a chor object in the PWS you get a little triangle. Clciking the triangle reveals various properties for that object. One of those properties is the 'Active' flag. Add keyframes for that - an active object gets rendered, and inactive one doesn't. 1. Do a search for converting a bone to an euler (pronounced oiler).

2. Has to do with setting the "active" on or off property in the object in the choreography.

1. Rotating a wheel such as a car, and to keep it spinning.

first make an action, then make the wheel rotate in the action, frame 00:00:00 to 00:00:14(or 15 if you want, and if you do make it the same as frame 0)having the last frame 1 degrese befor the first. then add it to the car(or whatever) and have the action repat as much as you want.also be shure to turn off hold last frame.
