That's a nice alien design - believable yet nicely distant from the biped/quadruped format familiar on earth.

 

I'm not sure a real Martian would need such sturdy or so many legs, given that Mars's surface gravity is only two fifths of Earth's, but let's not dwell on that - if we kept to real reality then the WotW story falls flat on it's face.
