I don't think it's a question of interpretation. Many people submit whatever project they happen to be working on, regardless of theme.

Would you have voted the robot choice yourself?

 

The robots I know, say they are human, don't know their creator and a basic interpreter from twenty years ago worked better.

I like the wood. It gives it a nice rustic feel.

The 'real wood' on this particular object is plastic with wood-print.
