E.J.Su
Here's an WIP snapshot of the mascot that I am working on for my own website. I sitll nee to put bones in him, so I could animate him. But I don't have good enough understanding of constrains and cloth dynamic, so I have a work cut out for me still. I am sure it will be a great learning experience. If you have any tip, I greatly appreciate it. Here's the original 2D designs

Zaryin
I really like this guy. I do think you should add a little bump mapping for fur, unless you decide to toon shade him.
E.J.Su
Ohh bump mapping, that's a good idea. I do want to keep him cartoony, but I am not going to toon shade him too much. Thanks guys!
bobbesch
Very lovely character, what's written on his loin-cloth? Especially the first picture makes me wonder wether he's missing some claws, but i'm not sure about this one. Norbert
