Wegg
This is the glam shot I just finished rendering for the Pterosaur model on eggprops. It was modeled by Joe Cosman and textured by both Joe and Brian Prince. You can find it <here> And see it in actions over on A:M flims <here>
Hutch
Are the textures procedural or decal or both? It looks nice.
Wegg
Are the textures procedural or decal or both? It looks nice. Most of what you can see are decals. There are some procedurals underneath to mix it up a little.
KNBits
Wow that looks really good. Why don't you try some displacement to mix up the edges a little. Right now it looks too smooth. Great job!
teh1ghool
That's really amazing too! Except quicktime can't ply your movie file. What extension is it? Maybe next time you can make it a format quicktime can standardly read please?
teh1ghool
*sweet* movie man!!!!! Love it!
Wegg
*sweet* movie man!!!!! Love it! So you managed to get it working? I still can't. Quicktime 7 has really messed up that codec I used.
KenH
Works here on a PC. Although it was messing up a few days ago before I got the latest v7 quicktime. Also, make sure you have all your browser windows closed when you're installing quicktime.
Wegg
Thanks. I might try updating again.
teh1ghool
If you don't want to reload the thing and close your browser wibdow, you can load it then rightclick>>save to disk. Then optn in quicktime. That's what I did...daned slow internet.
cstanton
I uninstalled QT7, re-booted and re-installed from the downloaded installer--I get audio, but still no pterosaur. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Curtis
nf1nk
What amaze's me about this piece of work (which played just fine for me) is how much better the canyon set look in this short film than in the Glamour shot on your website. It has me very tempted to take a much closer look at the set. If only I had a story that needed it
