Heiner
Hello, a little spaceship i am working on right now. It is bout 60 meters long or so. So it is not one of these large leviathan like spaceships. Cheers, Heiner
jamagica
Very nice! Not much to say now because you're off to a great start!
Mr. Jaqe
Neat, very neat, however the front end of the thrusters are bugging me a bit, they're too sharp, I've marked it below. However, it might change when the ship get some color. Just a little pointer, but it's mosltly a personal opinnion. Btw, are you making smaller escort ships? Heiner
Hi, Mr Jage, you where right, the solution with the trusters was not very satisfactory. I got rid of them, and try to attach some more organic looking round viewport section like things, and some more tubes. I am not sure at the moment, how the edged and jaggy main body of the ship goes along with the round side section. What do you think guys? Regards, Heiner
bentothemax
It looks pretty good, but i think its to tall, the front section is slender and reminds me of a bird of prey. The back looks like an elephant I think it would be cool if you modled it like a bird, just mechanical and spaceship like. Good start though Ben
Dhar
That looks really good. It reminds me of a model I once made with my son's Legos
Heiner
Here is the next step, a cargo hatch on the front end of the ship. Bentothemax, you are right, currently, the ship looks a bit like that, but it is developing in my imagination, and after the next two or tree steps, it is going to be a homogenus piece of hardware. As you may have allready guessed, it is part of a story, in which it is the mobile main base of my main character, the "Dark Hunter" (i am going to post some drawings of him as well in my next addition of this). Therefore it serves the purpose of a mobile home as well as beeing a laboratory and and armory, and an hideout and, and, and ... It could be described as a mobile bat cave with a living room :-) Ok, so much for now guys, thanks for your interest. Heiner
Heiner
Ok, here come some concept drawings of my main character, "The Dark Hunter". I also have modeled this figure in A:M quite a while ago, and i will post him, when i found him again. I am working with 3 different computers, and my desk (as well as my computers) are allways a mess :-). Let me know what you think of him? Heiner
Here is the first concept drawing for the current ship. As you can see it dates back to 1991. Heiner
bentothemax
Hey thats cool! I like your drawings and i guess if its a mobile bat cave then it does have to be pretty big! I like your first design from 1991 alot! it just looks cool Neway good job, cant wait for more
Heiner
The next step of evolution. With the side parts i am quite happy for now, also the lower front segment, with the external gun turrets. On the other side of the ship, there will be a second turret "arm" on the other side of the ship as well. So far i am happy with the developement of the ship, but i still have no clue at all, what i am going to do with the back of the ship and the thruster section. Dhar
This is really coming along well. But I can't help but think that it looks too much like an ATAT without legs.
Datameister
Looks great! It's cool to see your progress from the original drawing to early forms of the model to the current state. Keep up the good work!
