So, I decided to continue working on the make believe "Incredibles" model I built insead of the caped character from which this one came....

I'm going to rig him up over the next few days, and post here.

anyhows, one more leg to go

ps... anyone have a problem with the whole fake incredibles thing...

I guess I'm gonna change the logo a little, maybe flip it upside down, like an exclamation point?

Well, not to hammer myself, but the other model wasn't my design either.

That first model with the cape is a "whataburger" character.

It's like a hamburger joint in texas and cali....

Tom I just got the Edna Joke!!! VEry funny!

Tom and Jage...

Well, I'm gonna finish rigging this fo incredibles guy....

Wouldn't take much to switch the rig out to the other guy when done... or just change the colors back...

I have to agree, it stands on it's own very well. Unless you have an Incredibles parody in mind (it would be perfect), let him be his own Super. BTW, Bob didn't have a hood, just a mask.

WHAT!!! Didn't have a hood????

Kidding.

But it might be fun to build a Mr.Incredible.... I mean we already have the Space Character from Toys on the Hash CD....

Thanks for the reply Bruce

I like the appeal of this character, Mike. He looks like he'd be fun to animate. Looks like your rigging is up to par as well... nice deformations.

You said this is just a quick and messy walk cycle, so take this for what it's worth... his hip needs to drop a bit on the side of the lifted (passing) leg, not raise. The way it is now gives him an unnatural sway.

Does this mean you've solved the distortion box issues you were having? I'm curious to hear an update on that.

Nice job.

Hey Mark thanks abour the hip thing.

As far as the distortion box.... unfortunately I've heard nothing back from the hash guys.

I think that Bob C. has been assigned the problem.

There is nothing I can do to fix it, as it is a programming issue.

I hope that DBoxes can get ironed out, they should play a huge role in character set up.... everything from lip shapes to joints could be easily set with Dboxes...

Hey Mark, thanks for the reply.

No smartskin at all. The whole system is cogs, for the most part identical to the system in McKnuckles.

I had to make a couple changes in certain areas like the torso as it is a little wierdly shaped.

Thanks
