Dalemation
I know there are a couple of bits to smooth out in the motion but anyway... The rig is the Hash 2001 with a version of Mike Fitz`s brilliant `cogs` added for the knees, hips and elbows. The body has a bone in the belly for the bounce/follow through. Anzovins WeightMover was used for the entire upper body and nicely smoothed out the shoulders and belly etc. DadWalk
KenH
Looks good. Seems like he's going to fall forward at some points....
JTalbotski
Nice character! Looks like he can eat, too! Maybe have him leaning back to balance his belly. Jim

modernhorse
Love his proportions. He reminds me (proportionally) of our old salesman. Man could that guy pack away the fried rice !! I really like how his belly moves. Doug
Pengy
Good job. Thats exactly the belly bounce Ive been looking for, for one of my characters. If you don't mind could you give a quick run through of how you set it up please?
Dalemation
If you don't mind could you give a quick run through of how you set it up please? Ofcourse. It`s a very simple set up That I`ve done. I know I could have created a dynamic constraint and had everything work automatically (and I may still try this) but I like to be in control as much as possible. It is, therefore, all hand animated. Belly Bone 1 is a child of the back bone. Belly bone 2 is a child of the back bone and set to orient like the Belly Bone 1 at 50%. I hope the image helps. jesshmusic
That does look good so far. You are very close to having the dad walk down. Very nice!
Pengy
Thanks Dale, I wonder if you put lag on those bones if some of that secondary motion would be automatic?
