Me first model

Tada! My first model...ever...(except for that nice little blue balloon that is now my best friend ) Anyways, I'm working on this guy, and then maybe a few other bugs. Any sort of help/critique is welcome. I'll probably attatch some legs, if you wondered. Excuse the quicktime thingy, having some problems and couldn't save as picture, only movie.

very interesting design! If you want this to look awesome I suggest this:

 

*Shape the feet so that they don't look like cups

*Make real eyes (it didn't seem like you did)

-for the decal on the eye, I suggest a realistic color

*Make a design for the back of the bug

 

Other than that, it's awesome

I think for my entry in my school's film festival I'll enter something with the bugs I'm making. I know I'll win for editing because all our movies stink and pff...I'll be the only animated one. Trying to think up ideas, I'm making an ant now.

Arg! Everyone I talk to has a school with a film festival! I am in Simsbury, CT, and apparently the only one without a film festival! ARGGG! Good luck, though.

Thanks, and I really do feel sorry for you. WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT A FILM FESTIVAL? hmmm....probably something to do with world destruction...hmmm... I'm sure there is a film festival outside of school near you somewhere

That looks much better...the antennas just don't look right for some reason...did you copy and paste or create two different ones? I would copy, paste, and rotate in order to solve the problem I see

Actually i think i liked the cup feet better. Just smaller. But shouldn't she have six feet?

 

Since you're in school, some sort of school parody might go over well. Like maybe there's a teacher bug and some student bugs, or maybe a bug doing homework...

 

But keep the idea short so you can get it done.

Yeah...I sorta liked the cup feet. Eeks you're right. I just passed off the pincer/antennae as 2 feet. Hmmm...thanks for the idea, Robcat. I was trying to come up with something. Yes, that would work well. Here's another guy I was working on today, not finished though.
