i'm making my own war of the wolds short for an fan fill competition on www.eveofthewar.com so i though i should post it here. i haven't made any animations yet because i'm having a bit of trouble with my tripod legs and i'm still waiting on some one to rerig it but i have made some pics. i do need some help with it but i think i can manage so i guess ill post up some pic (comments and suggestions will be appreciated) this pic is of my normal tripod i plan on having three different kinds [attachmentid=15357] this is a far shot so you can see it better [attachmentid=15358] this is my destroyer tripod i'm using this for clearing out defences and stuff the letters mean as follows SG: shield generater, DLP: dual laser blasters, DHR: dual heat ray, FT: flam thrower, DDR: dual disintegrator ray [attachmentid=15359] this is the commander tripod it leads the groups of tripods [attachmentid=15360] these are the tripods together to show there size this is before i redid the commander tripod so the hood and eye is different [attachmentid=15361] this is a more recent pic of the tripods together [attachmentid=15362]

i think you find it some ware in the students forum not sure

can anyone show me a good tutorial for making lightning and electrical effects in A:M and i would like a tutorial for making mussel flashed for guns

i must be having comp problems the first one was leggy and kept freezing and this one doesn't have any sound any advice on what to do?

do you have on in writen tex because the movie keeps freezing 7 min in and im stuck on just this one image and the sound is jumpy

i have motly lurned the particle emiters exept sprites can any one type down or show me a tutorial that will help me lurn and get the know the sprites emiter better? thanx and sorry for any misspells i typed this in a hurry

i have a tripod modal that needs nulls in it it has bones all ready but i want some nulls in to make it easier to animate any help with it will be much appreciated hears the modal [attachmentid=13196] tripod3.zip

do you know of any tutorials that describes how to use them

Ok for a Wotw movie i'm doing i want to use nulls in the legs of my tripod but i don't know how to work them all i know how to do it file new null and thats it how do i get the nulls to act like the ones in the feet, hands, and hips of actors?

i think i have been having the same problem but i don't know how to fix it

thanks i hade to change to a my DVD burner because my CD drive went out for some reason and i lost every thing in my library and the font wizard dissapeard with it but then it just reappeared (strange) so now if any one can tell me how to get all the things that were in my library back in with out having to do it one by one I think that will be it for my technical problems

dose A:M V11.1 have the font wizard? because thats what i have and its not there oh wait i found it it disappeared for some reason but now its back

can some one send me the font wizard? or upload it as a zip or post a link to ware i can download it i need it for a project

a ok i see now it says that the file is to big if i have posted stuff before does it get saved some ware and do i need to empty to post more stuff?

i have been trying to post some pics and movies as attachments and it works up until it finishes loading then its like i never loaded it in the first place and help on this?

i need to know how do i make a still pic what i have been doing is making a small avi movie and then take a pic from it is this how i'm suppose to do it or is there another way?

i'm working on a new tripod hears what i have so far [attachmentid=12751] these pic are what the tripod looks like [attachmentid=12753] [attachmentid=12754] [attachmentid=12755] [attachmentid=12752] this is not what the tripod fully looks like there will be some changes on it like the eyes will be black not green any comments and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

i have found some tutorials on the internet and is that tutorial it says i have to hit "override basic attributes" but i go into the properties and there is no tab that says "override basic attributes" can any of you help me on this. the web site is down right now so i cant send you like to the tutorial oh and i am using version 11 2005

Wells War Of The Worlds and for people that have read the novel i would like to see what other people can do this is the first pic that i did for wotw its the heat ray coming out of the cylinder this was my fist model of the martian tripod (also most un Accurate) this is my second tripod model (with a bit more accuracy) this is the handling machine that built the tripods and this is the flying machine theres more to come
