  1. Theres a certain point where really good becomes freakish...and you've crossed it I modeled a ship a while back but its nothing compared to this monster. Simply amazing.
  2. Very nice work so far. I did a quick scene a while back using some guys models (space marines and speeder) but yours is looking way better than mine Good luck with animating these guys.

  4. Could you please post an animation of him climbing onto a wall or something vertical. and if you really want to climbing into a vent afterwards. P.S. doesn't have to be textured
  5. Well...he's actually meant to be a sort of spy spider that is used for infiltrating places (vents, small crakcs etc) if he was huge i would have added more gears and pipes and things. Anyway, the animation is great.
  6. 1st right click the project file and zip it there. then open up WinZip and do the same thing manualy with the 1st zipfile...i think thats how i did it
  7. I'm new to rigging and animating. If you want to rig it...please, go ahead, but could you post the finished project file so that i could have a look. And if you really want to, you could animate it as well, perhaps a walk cycle.

  10. I haven't had enough time. i've been doing the spider for about 3 days (that includes modeling, texturing, rigging, and the scene). and i also haven't been able to find good references for spider movements Does anyone know of any?

  12. Hi Here's a mechanical spider I modeled. My main problem is having the whole spider in the one 'model'. At the moment I have each leg in a separate 'model' so that I can change the copy/paste things quickly. But if I put the entire spider in the one 'model' it takes about 10 minutes to copy and paste one leg Does any one have any tips for faster copying and pasting or to reduce the amount of CP's quickly without changing the original shape? Comments appreciated

It took me about 3 days to model my room. i've been trying to get the cieling and the walls the same color without using ambiance. i've tried to lower the light source but i have to lower it so it is in the centre of the room to have the cieling the same colour as the walls. P.S. i've tried radiosity but it takes way too long to render, and the end result is a whtie background with black spots
  22. here's my latest model of my room. i still have to add a lot a decals to the posters and add some more paintings but at the moment i think it looks pretty good P.S. i know making the edges curved would make it look a lot more real, but that adds twice as many control points to the project and then everything gets really slow. Comments Appreciated
  23. try all the buttons near ctrl+s (q,w,e,a,d,z,x) try changing the graphics driver in the global properties. I cant think of anything else
