  1. Woot's turn to look behind him is good. He needs to hold that (07:08) long enough for us to see he is looking at something.

     

    The anticipation pose into the jump (07:12) isn't too big so much as it's leaning too far forward. He won't be able to jump up when he's already thrown his weight so far forward.

     

    But I like the twist to his body as he crouches down. You just need to keep his center of gravity over his feet so he can actually jump up.

     

    Just try modifying that much and lets see what it looks like.

  2. Now that we got him landed lets go back to look at the concertina motion...

    Well this is a start I think this is happening a little late but I thought I show this so we have something to work from.

     

    His elbows don't quite have the leading overlapping motion going but the motion of the ends of the concertina is matching the beat of the music. That is much improved!

     

    The motion of the concertina seems to be continually moving... in-out-in-out

     

    It should have a pause in between:

     

    in-pause-out-pause-in-pause-out-pause

    the actual motions are faster so pauses can fit inbetween.

     

    I paused poses by 3 frames each this helped in having elbows leading motion

     

    Can you make the size of the concertina motion about 25-50% bigger (without changing the timing).

    Can you get the squetch on his body to bounce on the same beat? one bounce to the beat. He looks like he's jiggling right now.

    And can you add a slight moving hold motion to tinman as he is waiting there?

     

    Done I moved the hip translation down and to right a couple of -> arrow keys

     

    Have his hips start just a few pixels lower than they are now and move up until he starts movinginto the position they are in now.

     

    take a look and let me know I feel hte first elbow rotation is lost behind the contentina but I do not know how to fix that maybe just me?

OK i have an animation that ive made thats about 10 seconds long, but it starting to say itll take about 2 days just to render out all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or like 42 hours, is this going to be really that long ir will the time shortenup a lot??? because ive got to have this done in less than 24 hours. AYE KARAMBA!!! its for a friends birthday present.

     

    If you want it done and you do not mind shaded renders that's sthe fastest way to go. To do this when you render click advance then 2nd tab is options then top line is quality click to right of that and selected shaded render. After that is done you can do a final later on when you have 2 days to render it ;)

  4. Ok Robert and I talked on skype and SC and TM were missing a motion back up on the anticaption so I tried to get that back in there and worked some more on the timing of the step. I altered Woot one pose to have his left hand motion to his chin. nervous bitting nails pose.

  5. Anyone seen this? the nulls on the face rig seem to suddenly be infinitely big.

    Actually I guess it's not the face nulls themselves, but something on that plane is being very weird. They appear like this when I turn the Face rig on to 1% or 2%.

     

    it's only on the scarecrow in this shot, the Tinman's facerig seems to behave normally.

    Robert in your crtique video on this scene you told me to take the lip sync aniamtion and move it out farther down the time line. I went into PWS and selected the CP for the lower face nulls and slide it down the time line. After I did that I got this result. May if I slide them back it will go away?

  6. Ok I change the poses like you said and I added an anticapation pose and a breakdowns for feet only to see how this turn is going to look like. I did not break down Woot yet. I will start on TS concentina playing while you look at SC 90 and SC91

Ok I did all that you asked for I hope I have tried something different for bad sign I thought while I was working on this that bad sign was a long motion compared to the others then I thought while testing some things out if I did the motion up on bad and arced back down on sign. I do not have the timing perfect thought I see what you thought of this idea first.

     

    I am off to block out scene 91 which is the last scene and is also the last scene left to do and I find it fitting that I have done both the 1st and last scenes of this song :D It's been a wonderfull learning experinece Robert I owe you a great deal my friend :)

These guys have been around for a long time I saw these guys back when I was a teenager and they have an impressive amount of quality music.

  9. I still can not get this to work I phoned my ISP and asked for help with my software firewall seeing they supply it too me. They did not seem to know too much about it I got the feeling the guy was just trying to get me to forget about this <_ .>

     

    He claimed that because they have me on a dynamic IP # that the render server probably would not be able to stay connected seeing my IP # changes???? that does not add up to my I thougt this cable modem gave me a static IP # it did in the past I know that when I use to host games my IP was always the same??

     

    I have done All I can think of and all that I can read about but it still will not connect to render server?

     

    Any ideas?

  10. I am working on Sc90 at the moment but I plan on submitting takes on both of these 90& 52 early next week. If you can have a pitch for that scene we talked about for early next week I can work on that while I wait for your comments. Next week I am going to be power animating tell we get this DONE :D

  11. Ok Robert after we Talked on skype this is my first take on a joined ver of 51 and 52 to see how this sound blends in.

     

    that's the idea. Now that I've seen them together I'll probably cut them right to the edge like this:

    You dont' need to change anything in the scenes, I just dropped the dead frames at the end of 51.

     

    So if I understand this correctly this task is done?

  12. They shouldn't need much change. What do they look like now as is?

     

    Ok I will post that but I am wondering when are you thinking of ending the sound in Sc52? can you give me a frame # to start off at I just tried this but advance the time line to 2.02 then hit play right now I started this at 0.00. When I start it at frame 2.02 I think the sound is lasting too long ?
