  1. Here's a cleanup task for Mark

Right now the concertina sound doesn't last long enough for the Servant to get offscreen in Sc51 or to get onscreen in Sc52

"WereOffAccordianIntro_Long.wav" holds the chord much longer. It is committted to Sc52/audio

use enough of the beginning to fix Sc51. Use enough of the end to fix Sc52

So what I am to do after I sub this sound file is adjust the lenths of Sc51 so when joined with Sc52 it feels right. So I made 51 as long as it can be and I will add more to the beginning of Sc52 and with my video editor join these together with different timing to experiment and edit these two scene together then use the frame burn to detrimine when to end and start of these two scenes should be?

  3. Your Welcome Roger it was fun working with you but if you like there is still more work to be done Robert and I are still sort by 9 scenes from finishing were off were gone song and we have lots of details that need to be done on other scense. So if you want to continue just post in were off were gone thread and I am sure we can find something else for you to work on if you are interested?

  4. Ok yes I had some stuff stell in from before and wanted to know if I was on the right track before going any farther. I was debating on whether to start over but from your last comments I think this route will work. So a carried on making smaller and your comments helped I think if I will go ahead and start facial animation on SC that's going to be the heart of this scene and getting him talking from the corner of his mouth is going to be a challange but it feels like it will be FUN!

  5. Thanks for the Comments on my body machanics improving Robert that helps me. I have tried to clam down sarecrow and Tinmans reactions as well but still trying to keep some of what I had before. You stated to just block it out so I have not really refined this. I am thinking that I might have changes that 8 into a 4 maybe a 3 lets see if we can polish this smaller ;)

  6. Hello AM, So Im looking for somefeed back. I use to use 3d Studio and Maya in the day. 7 years later im finding myself interested in 3d again. I have been working with Sketch UP lately for modeling and I am very limited to modeling. So I'm asking

for some advice. How hard is it to create custome characters in AM as to creating with Maya and 3d studio. I can create characters in 2d till the world ends, but now its time to turn them into 3d, will AM complete this task with basic knowlegde of modeling.

Also will just modeling bog down my system, because im on a older laptop. Or will i be fine intill I start rendering animation.

    Thanks AM members

If you are wondering why people are mentioning that this thread might not be around for much longer in there reply's the reason is that there is a rule about not mentioning other programs by name. you can say other programs just do not say there names this forum is provided to us by Hash Inc. to talk about and help each other learn and us there product.

  7. I think I has over done the Winkie motion but I thought I show it anyways maybe I have not over done it too much? I going to to start working on SC 90 tell I hear about this. I main thing I think I went wrong with is the scale of translatation in the hip bone. I know you said to lower the hands but I wanted to have a slight arcing of hips as well. I arced hips in a close upview abd did not realize how much motion I was given them. I am wondering if I can box select the hip done translation curves and just scale them done. So you you can give me a % of reduction you like to see Robert that might help.

  8. Yes 4 frames is not much to work with but I guess that's the look were going for here I like the exit that Dhar did in shot before this but I wonder if I few more frames might still give that type of look? I LOVE that Rabbit I think that adds so much to this Scene!

  9. I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD USE THEIR REAL NAME! just not me

    WELCOME!

Yes that would make things simpler just think we can cut the names we have to remimber in 1/2 seeing we refer to each other by real names most of the time anyways ;)

Welcome nimblepix do not hesitate to ask away!

  10. An animator named Cameron Fielding has made an interesting post about small facial expressions. I like it because it's about how the characters showed us what they were thinking without actually saying it out loud and telling us, which is what fine character animators aspire to.

Some of his observations are about things so small I'm not sure they are really there, but I like how he's found these very small elements that are doing a lot.

Worth the 10 minutes it will take to watch the clip and then read his commentary.

Thanks for posting this it is helpful in many ways but I do agree one or two of his comments are so small I have to wonder if it's something his subconscious mind is filling in?
