  1. and the project... Dynamics4.prj
  2. Hi All, Attached is a project I started to see how far I could push Dynamics in AM. There are still some issues with it as can be seen in the attached vid. You really have to play with the settings and in some cases I found if I select Constraint (under Target) and try to change it to None, it does not always change....like it becomes stuck?? Also, when selecting "Attach to Parent" on or off in bones mode and after Dynamics is turned on...AM crashes Finally, odd things are being simulated, like Objects tend to gain energy after repeated collisions with another object. So far, it appears to work best for really simple stuff. Cheers, Eugene DynamicsTest_3.mov
  3. Just checking to see what I could do with Render as lines and a bit of glow. Cheers, E lr_001.mov
  4. Hey Josh, The shoulders are a simple pivot...the rig was also in there from the start, but it was an odd one. I had to lock all the bones and move them one by one in order to give it any kind of reasonable pose. I like the way the render is coming out...not sure how much farther I am going to go with it... Later Dude, E
  5. I did this just for fun and to play with SkyCast. The model is right off of Eggprops. Cheers, Eugene
  6. I would say that looks pretty good. I am thinking that the fibres tend to stay together in small clumps. Maybe try increasing the thickness of the hair and give it some kinkiness. Cheers, Eugene
  7. ....and the files... GlueBottle.zip
  8. I am not sure if you intended it that way, but the chest area looks a bit too large for the rest of the body...of course, that's just what I see. Otherwise, a nicely splined model. Eugene
  9. Hey Fleebag, Great stuff. I really enjoyed watching that and thought it was really cute. Keep up the good work. Eugene
  10. I used a rotoscope to trace out the general shape so I know it's not perfect but it's close. Nancy...Thank You. I think I will try an animation in one of my next few posts. Zaryn...Thank You. Hope you've been keeping well! One day I will figure out how to make realistic looking 3D glass. Cheers, Eugene
  11. ....and the project file.. Pliers.zip
  12. This was my attempt at speed modeling. WARNING: Splines in project file below are poorly built and illogical. These were Speed-Splines as I was timing myself to see how long this would take. (1.5hrs). Regards, Eugene
  13. Nancy, Really nice image. Has a kind of surreal look to it. Oil painting meets 3D....Cool! Good work Eugene
  14. Johnl3d, There is only 1 Tinkering Gnome and you are it! I wish I had your creativity! Good Stuff! Eugene
  15. Excellent work Vern. I'll be posting another model tonight for you and John....this might be a bit more challenging to come up with a storyline... But then again...maybe not. Eugene
  16. John, Maybe you can get the spray can working in my other post? hint hint!
  17. ...and the project file... Have fun. Eugene ***************************************** EDIT - Sorry, but I forgot to add the MDL file in the original post. It has now been included as of 12:05 am. SprayCanPRJ.zip
  18. Slap on your own decal and you've got your own brand of paint. Cheers, Eugene
  19. Hello Everyone... Thanks for the comments. I did this up to use in a shop scene I am working on and since they are required almost everywhere, I figured I am probably not the only one to need one. Not sure if I will get around to animating it though...we'll see. Cheers, Eugene
  20. Project file... Cheers, Eugene Fire_Extinguisher.zip
  21. John, Very cool. I like the animation and the material effect. Good stuff. Eugene
  22. Did this a while ago, but don't recall what kind it is...actually, I think it's a Heinz 57. Eugene
