  3. By the way, is there a wy to select a startingpoint on the path? and are there any expressions available someplace for car, bikes, planes etc.?
  4. Puh, Finally I managed to get a vespa with rolling wheels following a path. I had much trouble with this, that I canot really explain to myself. I guess I did many things wrong( for instance to going to the start of the animation first ), often when I fiddeled around ,I ended up with the vespa creeping really slow along the path or the wheels not moving at all, then when I deleted all actions to replace them, the path strangly jumped away and I frustradetly started all over with a new chor, often the playhandle didnt work and I had to restart the chor. But finally I got this. Now I have to go on to animating in the chor, next I have to find out how to set keyframes there to manipulate the steering and to bow the vespa into the curves. Sigh, I knew, why I have been afraid to animate for so long... ;>) Jake vespadoris220405.mov

  8. Finally managed to move all 4 wheels simultanisly by using the roll like constraint. ( For some odd reason the enforcment values all were changed to 0, so no movement,) Strangely enough there seems to be a small hold at the beginning/start of the animation....... simplecar.mov

  11. The tooncart latly brought me to try to rigg a simple car myself. Following the lines of the bone-tut of Rodger Reynolds , I managed to set up the steering. But when I made a second action for the wheels rolling, in the action only one wheel is rolling, and even that seems to be stopping brievly at the starting-point.. in the chor even none. What have I done wrong? I constrained the other wheels with a roll like constraint. The car is constrained to a path. How can I slow it down a bit to watch its movement better?   17. I tried to render out a wireframe or shaded wireframe and got a : "failed init bound render info". Any help in this issue anybody? Anyway here are some more pictures and a closeup. Thank you for the friendly comments. ( I just copied one half and flipped it for the time being. Copy flip attach I leave till I think the model finished.) ;>) jake

  21. You mean make many single splines and add structure by rendering them as lines? You think that would work better then this emitter-thing? Jake
  22. For a still I am planning, I need a person to walk in the rain. What would be the best way to simulate it. Any advise would be highly apreciated. Thanks Jake
  23. Very nice modell! Here is my personal opinion , what could even make this a little bit better. I would make his shoes a lot bigger , his hair black and more bushy, maybe he lacks a little bit of upper-head there and naturally his bowed back and halfclosed eyes add a lot to the typical "Gastonpose" ;>) Jake
