Tried this poodlestroll by using the Riggingmachine. The ears and hairball I attatched a dynamic-constraint to . That didn`t seem to work though... poodlestroll220405.mov

By the way, is there a wy to select a startingpoint on the path? and are there any expressions available someplace for car, bikes, planes etc.?

Puh, Finally I managed to get a vespa with rolling wheels following a path. I had much trouble with this, that I canot really explain to myself. I guess I did many things wrong( for instance to going to the start of the animation first ), often when I fiddeled around ,I ended up with the vespa creeping really slow along the path or the wheels not moving at all, then when I deleted all actions to replace them, the path strangly jumped away and I frustradetly started all over with a new chor, often the playhandle didnt work and I had to restart the chor. But finally I got this. Now I have to go on to animating in the chor, next I have to find out how to set keyframes there to manipulate the steering and to bow the vespa into the curves. Sigh, I knew, why I have been afraid to animate for so long... ;>) Jake vespadoris220405.mov

Finally managed to move all 4 wheels simultanisly by using the roll like constraint. ( For some odd reason the enforcment values all were changed to 0, so no movement,) Strangely enough there seems to be a small hold at the beginning/start of the animation....... simplecar.mov

Are the wheels and the steering already rolling? Just try to solve some problems there myself.. See car-rigg thread...... The cars-design is great! ;>) Jake

The tooncart latly brought me to try to rigg a simple car myself. Following the lines of the bone-tut of Rodger Reynolds , I managed to set up the steering. But when I made a second action for the wheels rolling, in the action only one wheel is rolling, and even that seems to be stopping brievly at the starting-point.. in the chor even none. What have I done wrong? I constrained the other wheels with a roll like constraint. The car is constrained to a path. How can I slow it down a bit to watch its movement better? I tried to render out a wireframe or shaded wireframe and got a : "failed init bound render info". Any help in this issue anybody? Anyway here are some more pictures and a closeup. Thank you for the friendly comments. ( I just copied one half and flipped it for the time being. Copy flip attach I leave till I think the model finished.) ;>) jake

You mean make many single splines and add structure by rendering them as lines? You think that would work better then this emitter-thing? Jake

Very nice modell! Here is my personal opinion , what could even make this a little bit better. I would make his shoes a lot bigger , his hair black and more bushy, maybe he lacks a little bit of upper-head there and naturally his bowed back and halfclosed eyes add a lot to the typical "Gastonpose" ;>) Jake
