higginsdj Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 Well I wipped up a quick model today in preparation for the December Image contest (shame I can't rig or shade the model as quickly as I can model them ) Take a look and let me know what you think. I'd really love some advice on how to achieve that typical comic book shine and reflectance for the outfit without going toon. Some ideas about heroine fashion wouldn't go astray either (I'm not a comic book reader) http://higginsdj.250free.com/wips.htm Cheers Quote
higginsdj Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 Are there any good/fast riggers out there (TSM1 or TSM2 equivalent) who would be willing to rig this model for me. You can keep the model as payment (It will still be my model but you can you it as if it were one of the Hash CD models) If you don't think the model is worth it please let me know (I do have great difficulty in judging the 'quality' of my own work) Cheers Quote
KenH Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 It's a swell model. You shouldn't have a problem getting someone to rig it (I don't have time). I think someone round here actually enjoys doing that Her hair is especially nice but her erm crotch area looks to be quite long in proportion to everything else. Quote
higginsdj Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 LOL - yes her crotch area is quite long (the roto was even longer) but I think thats because the pants aren't hipsters - they go all the way up to her waste. Plus she is of comic model proportions rather than normal proportions. Cheers Quote
higginsdj Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 Updated my WIPS page with a new render using Radiosity and Yves Cornell Box to better show the models form. Cheers Quote
Admin Rodney Posted November 28, 2004 Admin Posted November 28, 2004 Glad to see you are bringing her back. She's a great character with great potential... and um... character! Quote
higginsdj Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 Thanks Rodney, I gave her a new body this time (the last own was borrowed from Alan Desroches 'Nafta' model). I also resurrected my Leelu head model (see below) and ooops - forgot to fix her top lip. I might get around to it this time :-) Cheers Quote
higginsdj Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 I should mention that the body was made using an old Shi roto. (Hands and boots borrowed from Wonder woman) I must say I like the Teal coloured suit best. Now to accessorise :-) Cheers Quote
