ddustin Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 I'm trying to set up a mast light with 3 different colored lights. I want to be able to turn the glow on for the desired color, red, amber and green. Not all at once. Any thoughts? Attached is an image. P.S. Mast lights are used in industrial equipment to indicate status. Red means fault. Amber means alert. Green means................ Everythings OK (you thought I was going to say go, didn't you). Thanks in advance for your help d Quote
ddustin Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 OK I figured out how to control it from within a chor. Now how do I get the glow to be bigger? When It glows now, it's barely visible. Thanks, d Quote
hypnomike Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 I've not used this myself but did you know that you can set glow intensity up to a max of 1000%? Hope this helps. Quote

ddustin Posted October 22, 2004 Author Posted October 22, 2004 I found the glow intensity setting and that helped, Still couldn't get the glow to turn on and off. I cheated and captured one from with it on them one with it off, them put them in vegas video to simulate turning off and on. Still need to figure it out. thanks for the help!! d Quote
Julian Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 To turn a light off, create a pose in which the ambiance of the light is zero. Actually, it would be better to make the ambiance of the lights zero by default within the model, and then create poses which set the ambiance of each light to 100% when the pose is turned on. Quote
ddustin Posted October 22, 2004 Author Posted October 22, 2004 Do I have the glow on before I set the ambiance? Thanks, d Quote
