trosper Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Hello, Hashers. Though I've had A:M for a while, I've only recently (like, this weekend!) been able to sit down with it and actually start learning how to do stuff. This short animation is the first real "thing" I've produced. (17 secs, Quicktime, about 2.7Mb.) I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks, Alan. PS - You might want to turn your speakers down. Quote
jfirestine Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Nice! I like it! I like the mouth expression when he hits the block, plus I like the camera shake. Can you elaborate how you accomplished it? Keep up the good work! Quote
trosper Posted August 31, 2004 Author Posted August 31, 2004 Can you elaborate how you accomplished it? The camera has an aim at constraint which makes it point to a null object, which just happens to be near Shaggy. When the big red box comes crashing down, I simply added a few translate keyframes to the null object to jolt it about. As the camera is pointing at the null, it gives the impression that the camera is shaking. It just seemed easier to use the constraint method to simulate the shake rather than trying to "shake" the camera directly. Quote
PlJack Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 What a riot. I agree, that was fun. Nice technique overall. Quote
