Hello, Hashers.

Though I've had A:M for a while, I've only recently (like, this weekend!) been able to sit down with it and actually start learning how to do stuff.

This short animation is the first real "thing" I've produced. (17 secs, Quicktime, about 2.7Mb.)

I'd appreciate some feedback.

Thanks,

Alan.

Can you elaborate how you accomplished it?

The camera has an aim at constraint which makes it point to a null object, which just happens to be near Shaggy.

When the big red box comes crashing down, I simply added a few translate keyframes to the null object to jolt it about. As the camera is pointing at the null, it gives the impression that the camera is shaking.

It just seemed easier to use the constraint method to simulate the shake rather than trying to "shake" the camera directly. :)
