Joe_Lunjen
My new short Film "Morning" is finished! It is called Morning because it happend in the morning who'd guess? . Anyways, it took me exactly 7 days to finish this, shaded render it all, gather all music and sounds, make all models, and do the credits. Get it at: http://www.flatface.net/~robotarena/POG/movies/Morning.mov NOTE: It is 2 minutes and 6 seconds long and 5 MB, please I encourage you to download it and see what you think. Enjoy my first short film EVER made and completed. It will also be on my site: http://www.psyog.cjb.net Enjoy, joy, joy, lots of hard work and sweat went into this, even if it isn't the greatest, it was fun to make and should be fun to watch, relaxe a while and check it out. Drakkheim
I'm getting tween 16 and 20 KB/Sec, so the ETA on the download is 20-35 min. I don't suppose you have access to a faster webhost, or perhaps somone would like to mirror it for you?
Joe_Lunjen
no to both, but if you know of anyone, or perhapse yourself after the download, please tell me. My host is flatface.net and the server they are using is out of date and dying, they are saving money for a new one. Hopfully I can find someone to mirror the download though. Alien_Films
Ha that was cute!! to broaden your audience I've recompressed it with Quicktime down to about 5 mb for you & put it on my fast server. It looks just as good & is only 1/6th the size. Here it is: MORNING QT Version I'll leave it up for about the next 15 days for you.
Joe_Lunjen
Yes ok, I realized at the end the sound quality of the talking was low my bad. It was the father saying to the yellow thoms bro that he was scedualed to work that day, the bro freaked out and jumped through window and ran to work . Thanks for the comments, I will put the Quicktime version up on my site, I am so glad you fixed the size problem, here is the fixed link http://www.flatface.net/~robotarena/POG/movies/Morning.mov Mirror is: http://www.zrrp.com/www/other/psy/morning.mov Once again thanks for compressing it! Admin Rodney Posted June 7, 2004 Admin Share Posted June 7, 2004 That was fun... I didn't get to see all your movie the last time so getting the rest of the story was a real pay off. Glad nothing like that ever happens to me!
Alien_Films
Glad I could help. Sense you posted it on your site I took it off mine. The way to get the size down is to compress with Quicktime Pro, use Sorenson3 codec then use these settings: Video Limit bitrate to: 40 keyframe every: 999 frames Sound: Use IMA 11khz Fast start for internet streaming enabled Use those settings to get you started & your file sizes will be way down without loosing quality.
