Gaggle of A:M'ers,

As I'm nearing the end of a different project I just had to start something new. Let's just call it "nearing end of project A.D.D". Anyhow attached is my latest - just a start for your impressions. Thanks.

Doug - it's hard to "read" the beak. Can you post a slightly turned image? Also looking a little muscular in the chest for a bird (unless it's the bird that's up in the sky with the plane!)

Thanks for your comments guys.

I attached a different view for your pleasure. Note that the colors are just temporary as I'm just experimenting. I have yet to add much detail to the beak, for instance it's not split like a mouth/beak yet. I was just trying to get an overall form for this bird.

I want him/her to have toony proportions though now that you say that Gerry, it does look a bit muscular from the front. Oh and Zaryin - yes he'll have legs. I'm thinking long and lean with huge knees (do birds have knees??).

I'd appreciate any more thougths, as I'm thinking that maybe this bird would fit in nicely with another thing I've got going.
