Render Times

Still waiting for my install number for V19 so, rendering with V15 on one machine and V17 on on another. There is a hug difference in the render times.

It might be because the Mini is an I7 and the Imac an I5 but, using the same scene and render settings, it is taking 2h25mins per frame on V15 ( Imac ) and 45mins per frame with V17 ( Mini ).

Some of that may be the difference in processors, but I recall that for MacOS users there was a huge speed up beginning with v16 when Steffen began programming.
