Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 14, 2014 Author Hash Fellow Share Posted November 14, 2014 It's attractive to the major Dreamworks stockholders who bought in at around $40 thinking it would go to $80 and instead it's gone as low as $20. Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 17, 2014 Author Hash Fellow Share Posted November 17, 2014 Looks like this deal has collapsed already and DWA Stock is down 16% today. Poof Goes the DreamWorks Buyout Premium, Again -- Market Talk 10:12 EST - That 16% bounce seen Thursday and Friday in DreamWorks Animation (DWA) amid reports it was in buyout talks with Hasbro (HAS)? It's already gone as fresh chatter has talks between the firms done. But investors really shouldn't be surprised. Just look back to late September, when there were reports that DWA was talking buyout with Japan's Softbank (9984.TO). That sent DWA up 26% in one day, though it took a week and a half for that gain to get unwound. Last week's bounce disintegrated even faster than it developed. DWA slides 15% to $22.04, putting the year's slump at 38%.
