serg2 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 AM v. 18f I can not create a connection that does not continue spline. In earlier versions of this tool does ADD MODE (A) while pressing SHIFT I have one this is happening? How to create a compound that is non-extendable spline? Quote
Fuchur Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 AM v. 18f I can not create a connection that does not continue spline. In earlier versions of this tool does ADD MODE (A) while pressing SHIFT I have one this is happening? How to create a compound that is non-extendable spline? Have noticed that too... I told Steffen about it. In the meanwhile, you need to create a full spline (containing 3 CPs) and join the CP in the middle with the end you want it to stop. See you *Fuchur* Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted June 18, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted June 18, 2014 I'm not sure I understand the problem. Quote
serg2 Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 Until recently had the opportunity to create connections and adjacent splines without their continued mutual. Missing the opportunity to continue to build the spline of its endpoint, so it was a different spline. (Cross-spline at endpoint) Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted June 18, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted June 18, 2014 I didn't know you could do that. I've always been doing what Fuchur said. But I tried it in v18 and it worked for me, I think. Is this what you are trying to do?... clip3548NonConnectingCP.mov Quote
serg2 Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 Yes! Ðll right! So previously worked. Even in the first version of the series AM18......... However, in this latest version of the AM18F is not working......Not working for me. When I connecting different splines while pressing SHIFT now always occurs in connection of different splines to one spline. AM18F(64&32bit) - Intel/Windows XP64/NVidiaGTX295 AM18F you use? Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted June 18, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted June 18, 2014 I'm on 18f also. I'm not sure what we are doing differently. I just tried connecting two splines that are already drawn and I was still able to connect them without them becoming one spline. Quote
serg2 Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 Something hanging in my system that sometimes overlaps work SHIFT key. Only that it worked fine! I will understand. Tank you, Robert! Tank you, Fuchur! Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted June 18, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted June 18, 2014 Something hanging in my system that sometimes overlaps work SHIFT key. I had that problem. It was from the peanut butter and jelly sandwich I ate the day before. Quote

serg2 Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 I'm not sure I understand the problem. http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=66363 This problem is the inability to start the construction of the second so-spline using pressed Shift-key. In your video you finish attaching the second spline by this method. In early versions had the opportunity to start building a second spline by this method. tscc - Codec Camtasia (ScreenGraber) (zip=rar) SHIFT.avi tscc.zip Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 12, 2014 Hash Fellow Posted December 12, 2014 Serg, Here's a work-around to do what you are trying to do in your video. This was done in v18h... clip3584CP_Attach_Workaround.mov Quote
serg2 Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 Thank you, Robert! It's not quite a convenient way with repeated usage. A lot of extra, unnecessary manipulation to remove additional points SHIFT2.avi Quote
Fuchur Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 This will be fixed in A:M v18i. See you *Fuchur* Quote
