Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 15, 2013 Hash Fellow Share Posted November 15, 2013 In this PRJ, Model 1 has two groups, "target" and "original" SimpleSnapTest02.prj I want to Snap the CPs in "original" so they are on the surface of "target" and I want to do it in a Pose. They don't have to be in some exact spot but i do want to get them on the surface of "target" What is the proper way to use Snap TO Surface for that? I haven't had much success with it. mtpeak2
I don't think STS is suppose to work like this. It was designed to model (create new cps) on top of another surface, prop or another model. I don't think you can snap an existing cp to another cp. STS can only work in modeling mode or a chor where you can create new cps.
Admin Rodney Posted November 16, 2013 Admin Share Posted November 16, 2013 Here's my very rough example... (with apologies for the low quality all the dead time that could have been edited out) I'd comment more but am heading out the door. Did I misunderstand your goal? mtpeak2
Hmm, I tried that and it didn't work, but I tried again and it did. Very odd.
