Can't view Mov files on Ipad

On a sidenote:

Why s that all these quicktime .movs arnt working on my i-pad?

Its apple , isn t it.

Anyway, you could convert them easily with Miro Videoconverter to mp4,

So that they can be watched on mobile devices too.

... IPads... I am not talking about these anymore...

get a good Android-device and get the VLC-app and close to all those problems are gone.

Maybe---but nevertheless as a presenter its not very wise to cut of more then half of your potential viewers from

the possibility to view your content...

 

Has no one created a converter for the iPad yet?

Seems silly to think that no one has.

Apple does not allow that... it is not that the hardware would not be capable of showing it or something...

They just forbid many things doable on other devices...

That's odd?

I don't have an iPad, so can't test it out.

The clip at the beginning of this thread is in H264. According to Apple's website it shouldn't be an issue, here's the list of supported formats for iPads.
