*A:M User* Roger Posted November 11, 2011 *A:M User* Share Posted November 11, 2011 Thought I saved the edits to my model after adjusting the feet, must have closed the darn program out without saving. That, or the file walked off somewhere. Oh well at least it wasn't a ton of changes.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 11, 2011 Hash Fellow Share Posted November 11, 2011 or you saved it somewhere unintended
*A:M User* Roger Posted November 11, 2011 Author *A:M User* Share Posted November 11, 2011 But god only knows where I saved it. I suppose I could just do a "find all" on my PC for dragon and see what comes up. Maybe I will get lucky. Its not so much the amount of work that was lost, as it is the psychological setback. Instead of some incremental progress, now I've got nothing new.
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 11, 2011 Hash Fellow Share Posted November 11, 2011 Instead of some incremental progress, now I've got nothing new. that's why I recommend saving incremental versions of work, even when it's not "done". Vertexspline
That stinks Roger.....hate that. I have already heeded Robert's advice on this and have become a habitual incremental saver. Its not really much work each time and sometime might save from pulling out your hair.
*A:M User* Roger Posted November 12, 2011 Author *A:M User* Share Posted November 12, 2011 Normally I am a pretty fastidious saver. I ran a search and didn't find it. Either I closed it out without thinking, or my system rebooted after an update. In any case, its gone. On a completely different note, I'm posting some concept art over in my WIP.
