NancyGormezano Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 OK, I'm stumped... how does that work without using "render as lines"? I believe he has 2 complete models (groups) in the thom model - the swept group, and the real group. He varies the transparency of the groups Quote
johnl3d Posted June 1, 2011 Author Posted June 1, 2011 Okay the "secret" is Nancy has it correct I swept a very small circle over the wireframe of Thom then had that model and the real model standing in the same spot and have the actual thom model go from 0 to 100% transparent and vice versa for the swept thom model sweptthinexposed.mov so to do this need sweeper plug-in Quote
johnl3d Posted June 1, 2011 Author Posted June 1, 2011 sweptthinexposed2.mov method2.zip second method model select all name outside then extrude into model very little call that inside to inside group apply the decal included as a cookie cutter group image then vary transparency of outside to expose inside group Quote
johnl3d Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 had a few minutes to kill and tried this shell.mov shell.zip Quote
