eptigo Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 im having some trouble with my lipsync i was making this animation, and revised many of my mouth poses when i checked the animation, half of my mouth poses were missing the mouth poses in the actions, the dopesheets seem ok, i can view the character talking in there, and the lipsync looks fine in a new choreography it just doesnt seem to want to work in the old choreography where the rest of my animation is tried refreshing with space bar no avail im wondering if some of the keys in the animation are somehow conflicting with some of the dopesheet keys or something not sure what to do and im hoping that i wont have to rebuild all of my dope sheets to correct the problem Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 1, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted July 1, 2010 I've never done much with dopesheet lip synch, so i'm not sure about a cause. But why not go back to a previous saved version of your project from before something went wrong and retrace your steps? I hope you haven't been resaving over the same project all along... Quote

Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted July 1, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted July 1, 2010 If you post the project with everything embedded someone might have an answer. A different someone than I since I'm not up on lipsynch. Quote
Meowx Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Yeah, you should always try and make a copy of the model you're working on every week or so and work on that new copy. That way, if something goes corrupt, you can just backtrack to the previous version instead of having to ditch the whole project and start all over. This has saved me innumerable hours with A:M.
