Until I want them to move. In other words, I'm doing the door tutorial from the AM manual and I've got shaggy pulling on the door. Then I have his leg lifting to help him pull on the door. I then want to bring it down, have him think for a second and then go berzerk pulling on the door with both arms and legs.

But when I bring his foot down, I don't know how to build a pause so his foot stays there before the next movement and doesn't slide.

How do I apply this to any bone I want? I'd like to build pauses in any bone.

thanks

This has to do with the interpolationmethod of the keyframes.

Go to the timeline-window and activate the curve-mode (not the keyframemode).

You will see what is happening by looking on the curves.

Two possibilities to solve that:

- Use the bias-handlers on the curves in the timelinewindow.

- Change the interpolation-method to linear or Zero Slope.

Hmmmm. When I lift the leg the toe is bent against the door. But the toe start to curl before the leg goes up. I set the curve to zero and then linear and the toe still curls up before the leg goes up to the door.

Did you make a keyframe at the time exactly before the toes SHOULD go up?

OK, how do I add a keybframe to ALL the bones at one time. Every time I make a little change and add a keyframe to keep one part from moving, another part in the kinimatic chain will move. Is there a way to add keyframe to all bones at once? Am I making any sense? LOL
