DJBREIT Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I have the camera constrained to a path. But when it reaches the door I would like to have the camera follow the door as it opens. Then return to the paths direction after the door has opened so it can continue down the path. I have tried something’s but it ether did not work or it screwed up the hole scene. By sending the camera to 0,0,0 at the start of the scene. Quote
Eric2575 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 What was it that you did to send the camera back to 0,0,0? Did you play with the enforcement setting? Quote
mtpeak2 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Try using the ease, in the path constraint, instead of the enforcement. Quote
DJBREIT Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 The ease only allows me to pause it along the path. After it pauses I need to change the rotation of the camera then return it to the paths control. Or do something that will do the same thing. Quote
mtpeak2 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Use the rotate offsets in the constraint to rotate the camera. Take note of the offsets, so you can return them to what you need when returning to the path control. And make sure you use a zere slope interpolation when animating the ease and offsets. Quote
DJBREIT Posted March 8, 2010 Author Posted March 8, 2010 Use the rotate offsets in the constraint to rotate the camera. I sort of stombed uppon it just before you posted thanks Take note of the offsets, so you can return them to what you need when returning to the path control. You just need to return th zero to returm to path control. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted March 8, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted March 8, 2010 There used to be an "apply before" (apply after?) switch in constraints that let you animate offsets on a bone directly by manipulating it. Is that what "Lock offsets" is now? Quote
mtpeak2 Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 "Apply before action" is only available in a pose. In an action or chor, it is automaticly applied. Quote
