Hisako 100112 Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I was looking into getting another computer and I was debating whether or not it should be a Mac or a PC. I created all of my A:M models (.mdl) using a Windows XP computer. If I wanted to buy a Mac, and transfer my .mdl files to it, would they still be compatible? Would they be able to open on the Mac? Thanx, -Hisako Quote
Gerry Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Yes, the files are 100% compatible. I'm currently working on a Christmas animation for the company I work for, and I work on the files on a pc at work, then bring them home at night and continue working on my Mac. There are some quirks in the Mac version interface, which have come up here on the forums in the past, but there are good workarounds for all of them. Quote
largento Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Yes. There is no different in the file type. Quote
