smoke moving from object

Recommended Posts

i was playing a very old game by the name of "Total Annihilation" and i tough i would try to recreate the way things build in the game. in which a energy grid is sprayed with a nanite cloud and it forms a full structure. and so i came down with 2 problems.

1 i could not find very much info on making smoke though it seamed it had to be using sprites

2 what i could find has an object moving leaving smoke, i need the smoke to move from an object preferable in a controled maner towards another model

If you need the smoke to actually move, a "Force" (RMB in chor window>New>Force) will blow particles around.

there are different types and shapes of forces. Pick them in it's properties in the Objects folder.

The data i used is part if the standard sprite images that come with each version the images should be in materials\ particles\sprites\ the smoke tga etc should be there ...no custom images used in fact the same images would be on any cd versions you might have

added zip of images
