MJL Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Good Job Gene! Excellent use of a talking tree. I like the way he wipes his brow a la Louis. (By the way, my main computer is in the shop, I'll get it back tomorrow) Quote
TheSpleen Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 Thanks MJL The others must be speechless lol It was a time waster anyway, Little more experience under my belt. Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted June 30, 2009 Hash Fellow Posted June 30, 2009 Cute! I feel bad for the butterfly though. Quote
TheSpleen Posted June 30, 2009 Author Posted June 30, 2009 it was too mushy for me, I had to do something. Quote
Admin Rodney Posted June 30, 2009 Admin Posted June 30, 2009 I like it. The tree singing was captivating. (the pacing really relaxed me) What happened to the squirrel? While you are sure to get more of a reaction to the bear intentionally squashing the butterfly it might work even better if the first one gets squashed by accident. The bear relaxing to the signing...leaning against the tree... oops. Morale: By accident we often develop a taste for things we otherwise might never consider. Anyway... nicely done!!! Quote

The squirrel was swatted off by the tree. It happens fast and I failed on that. No anticipation pause. Quote
TheSpleen Posted July 1, 2009 Author Posted July 1, 2009 Rodney.................Thanks The word "Captivating" in your post made me stick my chest out in pride. That's a big word. A hard to attain word. I got lucky. LOL Gene Quote
Paul Forwood Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Well done, Gene! It's a wonderful world. SPLAT!! Quote
Admin Rodney Posted July 1, 2009 Admin Posted July 1, 2009 The word "Captivating" in your post made me stick my chest out in pride. I searched for the most appropriate word for some time. I was going to use 'mezmerized'. Captivated works better. Seriously... I was freaking captivated. Couldn't stop looking at him. That may be why I missed the squirrel's demise. Quote
frosteternal Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Cool beans. I particularly like the bear destroying the butterflies. Quote
