bighop
I know this has been covered before, I just can't find the post. I want to make a brick wall, which I know I can use a decal. However I want to add a bump map or material to make the wall look more textured. Wasn't there a post about this? So what will give the best result.... just a decal, a bump map, or just a material. Thanks!
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted March 31, 2009 Hash Fellow Share Posted March 31, 2009 The ultimate would be to paint your own decals, but if you want something quicker, the free darktree materials have several nice "brick"s. The darktree plugin is built into A:M. on attribute>change type to>plugin>darktree>symbiont you'll need to have the actual "shaders" loaded on your computer. Those can be gotten from the darktree site
johnl3d
I did this with a dark tree simbiot material which includes a bump map setting you can adjust this was at 25% I zipped a number of the materials that were brick related below Building_Brick.zip
