Admin Rodney Posted July 10, 2008 Admin Share Posted July 10, 2008 Your geometry/splines are too close. Locate the area you think is the closest and adjust that first. Then resimulate and check the results. If its a complicated model you might want to save the current version and work with a new one. Then you'll be more likely to jump in and move things around quickly. Note that in some cases you might be able to remove or hide the geometry entirely. ...and the cloth similation will still work just fine. TacoBallZ
Can we get a screenshot of your cloth object? I'm pretty sure Rodney's right on this one. I've had that error when the cloth starts to fold on itself and the CPs are a little too close together, and the simulation just goes a little crazy
noober
I found the problem, it was the object collision was turned way to high. Now my problem is some of the points aren't moving with the rest of the cloth. The shirt moves but a few points never move. Could this be a hook issue? zandoriastudios
definitely get rid of hooks in the cloth mesh!
noober
It was the hooks.
noober
I've been working with cloth lately and i was wondering. Does anyone know if a single object say a t-shirt, can have multiple cloth groups? Lets say to have simulate a stiff collar and a stretchy shirt. But as one piece of geometry.
