kylemb
ok im not sure if the topic that was posted meens the same as this one but how do i make something on the model light up. like say i had a gountlet, and i wanted "power" comeing out of a spacific point in it. the power i want is a red light. so how would i make the red light look as if it was comeing out ofthe arm pice?? EDIT: should i just constrain the light inside the models arm and have a transparant part red?

johnl3d
here's the idea without a light as mentioned above lightinarm.mov used % pose to control lightinarm.zip

Fuchur
wow thanks man, pritty much what i was looking for, but is there a way to keep the light red. I am not sure what you are after... but you could although try Glow. It is a surface-property. It wont light up other models but it looks nice on the model itself. A combination of a light and this surfaceproperty can be nice too... *Fuchur*
johnl3d
The red is set by a % pose slider you can keep it on as long as you wanted: the sample is teh same model three times notice each doe the red glow differently based on the pose setting
