c-wheeler
I started this model-no rotoscopes/drawings or pictures by demonstrating to a friend how to construct an eye, then it sort of got fleshed out when I had nothing better to do. Now I cant help but feel I got something a bit wrong, but I may be too involved in his face. He seems to resemble me a lot as well.
Eric2575
What kind of feedback are you looking for, aesthetic or technical? The face seems a bit spline heavy, especially since it doesn't seem to have a lot of creases. You also need to smooth out the face a bit more, especially around the cheeks. Paul Forwood
Looking good but do you really need those hooks?
c-wheeler
What kind of feedback are you looking for, aesthetic or technical? Both, thanks, I just want to know what people think about it. Do you mean the ones on the cheek? They are there to tie in the ears, which at time of posting, looked cr*ppy, so I left them(the ears) out. Do you think they will cause problems with posing? Paul Forwood
Do you think they will cause problems with posing? They may be far enough back that they won't be part of the facial animation, in which case they should be okay. I just avoid hooks where ever possible and restrict them to areas that are either hidden or won't be animated. Anyway, you will find out when you rig him and can make alterations as neccessary. Tai Shan
Looks great! Incredible detail work. I agree: a lower spline count will save you headaches if you plan to animate.
