agep Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I was making a small model for a bigger project that I am working on. I did a testrender just to see how the model did turn out. Its a very simple model(s) and a standard AO render, but I thought the result turned out nice, so I want to share it with you guys. I might if I find the time make several more bottles and fill the environment with them, but for now, I'll settle with this render Let me know what you think Quote
Luuk Steitner Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Very nice. It looks almost real. Are you going to animate them? Otherwise you could have just taken a picture Quote
MattWBradbury Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 I aggree with Luuk: not enough reflective spheres. Quote
Tralfaz Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Not sure what you mean by 'reflective spheres', but those paint canisters look pretty darn good!! Reminds me of my plastic modelling days... Al Quote
goodguy20k Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Am I the only one catching a sense of floating? Not fond of the environment. (HA! I finally found a critique for his projects! What? It's only part of something he's working on?! SO WHAT! It's a critique! He's HUMAN! ) Quote
MattWBradbury Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 The spheres are just to make the scene look more CG. What do you think about the blue AO and yellow sun light? Quote
agep Posted October 5, 2007 Author Posted October 5, 2007 Thanks guys What do you think about the blue AO and yellow sun light?I've tried to experiment with that before, but havent been able to get a nice turnout. I dont think I grasp the concept quite yet (haven't found a good balance). The above render is the default chor with AO added with intensity set to 66% Quote
