Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted August 10, 2007 Hash Fellow Posted August 10, 2007 I need help modeling a rose and I'm having a hard time getting the rose petals right. If you have any tips please post them. just the germ of an idea... if you modeled one petal you might be able to use the duplicator wizard to to scale and spin it around to make the others? I haven't figured out how to make the wizard put the spin axis in the right place. But I'm sure it could be done. Quote
johnl3d Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Same Idea but I used Sweeper trying a few diffrent positions for a round petal then tweaking the swept object Quote
DarkLimit Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 I recently got a gig to create a rose.....never did one before but they are tricky- I did one cartoon style......not to bad I thought.... I just created a profile and extruded it all the way around and tweaked it.... Quote
