tbenefi33 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Need help please How do make the bones stay on the flower when I turn the flower model they dont stay with the model here a pic of what I'm talking about. Quote
Dhar Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 That's because you're still in the modeling window. Double click on the action file and choose the flower. Or, simply drop the flower in your choreography window, only then can you animate the bones. Nice looking flower Quote
tbenefi33 Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 Thanks for the help Dhar here a pic what I'm trying to do make the flower spit out a seed I got a shot video for somo reason the video not uploading on here bummer. Quote
c-wheeler Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Looking at your model I suspect that when you moove the flower, the stem moves as well. This is because, in the world of bones, when you move one(the "parent" bone, it affects everything added to it(the "children" bones) I would suggest that you delete your bones, then start adding bones from the base up. Then when you start your action, if you animate the floweer from the second stem bone up, it will stay rooted in the ground. Chris Quote
Dhar Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I got a shot video for somo reason the video not uploading on here bummer. When you render, make sure you render to QuickTime, with a Sorensen 3 compression. Quote

Dhar Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Did you create your animation in an Action window or in the Chor. window? If you created both in an Action window, you'll need the Flower Action to Start after KeeKat gets into position. Quote
tbenefi33 Posted March 20, 2007 Author Posted March 20, 2007 I created it in the action window. Quote
Dhar Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 So you have one Action for the flower which starts at 00:00:00 and one action for KeeKat which also starts at 00:00:00, right? Quote
tbenefi33 Posted March 21, 2007 Author Posted March 21, 2007 Yes I had both of them starting at 0:00 then I went to the timeline and chaged it around a little and this short clip what I came up with this is just for fun hehehe. Sorry had to chage it video clip to a WMV file the quicktime wouldn't up load. You might zoom in on the flower cause hes kicking a rock. Flower_Power_3.WMV Quote
