Which software do you recommend?

I've been working on a movie and decided it was time to animate the scenes. Unfortunately, I can't continue unless I know some kind of software that gives me high-quality scene combiners. Whenever I use Windows Movie Maker for combining scenes, the quality is really bad and I don't want it that way. I was hoping for a software that could allow me to finalize my movies in quicktime.

I have one scene from the movie that I'm currently working on.

untitleddo.mov

Do you know any software that can produce the same quality and be in quicktime?

(The obligatory in-A:M solution)

You could always just combine your animations together in A:M.

There are several ways you can do this:

Camera Rotoscopes

Choreography Layers

Patch Images (with or without decals)

Compositor

The easiest would probably be through camera rotoscopes.

The most flexible would be with patch images and decals.

Of course MOV format is a native format for A:M but I would suggest editing using TGA sequential images.

You could create a Chor setup for each major sequence of your movie and one Master Chor to collect them all.

There are a host of transitional effects you can create right inside A:M too.

Apple's QuickTime Pro is $30 and does a good job assembling scenes. If you want editing capability, I think what you are looking for is a non-linear editor (NLE). Sony's Vegas Video or Adobe's Premiere both do a good job. Vegas sells a version for under $100. An NLE will allow you to edit/sync both video and sound files.
