I've learned that i need to upgrade to an ATI RADEON graphics card, rather than an NVIDIA graphics card. which RADEON card do you recomend? and do RADEON cards work ok in a computer having an intel VIIV DUAL CORE PROCESSER E6400?

Where did you hear that?

I don't believe there are any problems with NVidia cards. I've used NVidia cards with A:M, and they work fine. Radeons work well too, but don't feel as if Radeon is your only choice.

Nvidia-Cards have one small draw-back: In Shadedmode, with activated grid, the points will stay black when you select them.

That is because of a change in the driver NVidia did some month ago.

I am not sure about Radeon so... ATI has recently been sold to AMD and I dont know which way they will take.

I recommend a fast NVidia-card with a Dual-System, but I think a good Radeon will do too...

I use NVidia 6800 512mb. Never had a problem even with my older card NVidia Ti4200. Always worked just fine. It is true with the point made about "black points" though. That can be somewhat annoying at times, but nothing at all major.

ok, here's a more modified question; what kind of grafics card can i buy, has best performance and quality, that is under 500$, and works for an HP Media Center PC?

I own an HP Media Center PC and I just bought the ATI Radeon 1600 PRO PCI EXPRESS 512 RAM card and it works awesome with A:M..... paid like $250 for it..
